DJ BISHOP (aka “Dat Eclectic DJ”) of the world famous Bumsquad DJz combines his decade-plus turntablism experience and his love for all types of music back to the airwaves with a devoted national and international fan following.

Bishop felt that standard radio was lacking true variety.

“You have the Top 40 stations playing the same 40 songs over and over again, then you got the Urban stations not playing enough music to satisfy the die-hard Hip-Hop fan…finally you got the unsigned cats out there whom radio won’t give the time of day,” says Bishop.

Bishop grew up listening to radio stations that excelled in playing great music, but lacked true variety. Based on feedback from personal friends and DJs alike, Bishop came up with concept of stripping the general formats of most shows and go “against the grain.” Thus, ENTER THE ECLECTIC was born.

ENTER THE ECLECTIC is a 2-hour broadcast in which DJ Bishop mixes the latest and greatest tracks from today’s hottest artists, creative mashups, remixes and blends from the sickest DJs, and freestyles and original joints from the world’s best unsigned talent from all genres including Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Calypso, Latin, House and much more. In addition to all of that, from time to time, you’ll meet these artists by listening to an exclusive interview.
